Corporate Safe Specialists One-Year Limited Warranty

Thank you for choosing Corporate Safe Specialists (CSS) for your safe solution. Since 1988, we've been listening to our clients' needs and providing the
technology to meet those needs cost effectively.

CSS extends a One-Year Limited Warranty from date of manufacture to the
original purchaser of the safe system (with the exception of Advanced Cash Control System (ACCS)), that this product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal and proper use from the date of purchase.

Advanced Cash Control System (ACCS) are covered by a CSS One-Year Limited Warranty on the safe body, door, and hinges only. All other components of the ACCS are warranted for 90 days after purchase and exclude bill jams, tube jams, printer jams, local electrical surges, brown outs, black outs and natural environmental issues such as lightning, water or wind damage.

All other ACCS components (OEM) are sold with a factory warranty enclosed in each component box. The ACCS warranty shall not supersede those expressed warranties nor shall the OEM component warranty over-ride the CSS warranty.

IMPORTANT: The CSS One-Year Limited Warranty will be honored from the date of receipt by the original purchaser provided that the safe is registered within 5 business days of receipt by phone at 1-877-723-3060, by completing the enclosed warranty card, or by internet at www.safe-help.com.

The CSS One-Year Limited Warranty is contingent upon the proper installation, maintenance and use of the product and shall not apply in the case(s) of misuse, burglary attack, accidents, freight damage, or tampering in any way so as to affect the safe's normal performance.

AN IMPORTANT MAINTENANCE NOTE: Proper battery replacement by an industrial-strength Energizer or Duracell-brand battery is required every 90 days to keep your warranty in effect. The CSS One-Year Limited Warranty does not cover maintenance-related failures - including battery-related issues.

The CSS One-Year Limited Warranty does not cover any defects or costs caused by:

  1. Modification, alteration, repair or service of this product
    by any persons or company other than a CSS Service Technician;
  2. Physical abuse to, overload of, or misuse of, the product or
    operation thereof in a manner inconsistent with the use indicated
    in the instructions;
  3. Any use of the product other than that for which it was intended; or
  4. Shipment of the product to CSS for service.

This warranty does not cover labor costs outside the continental United States nor does it cover emergency labor.

CSS is not liable for any special incidental or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, personal injury, property damage, damage to or loss of equipment, loss of profits or revenue, costs of renting replacements and/or any other additional expenses, even if CSS has been informed of the prospect of such damages. Any express warranty not provided herein, and any remedy which other than the warranty contained herein might arise by inference or operation of law, is hereby excluded and disclaimed including the implied warranties of merchantability and of the fitness for a particular purpose.

CSS Warranty Service Policy
Service performed under the CSS One-Year Limited Warranty will be considered for approval only if the following procedures and policies are followed:

  1. A warranty service ticket number must be obtained from CSS before any service work is performed. Authorization may be obtained by calling the CSS Service Department at 1-877-723-3060.

    To help us better assist you, please have the serial number and description of the safe product. Completion of our phone service diagnosis of the problem must occur in order for CSS to determine warranty status before the ticket number will be assigned. Issuance of the ticket number recognizes the existence of a potential problem and does not constitute an admission of liability by CSS.

    Only approved CSS Service Technicians will be authorized to perform service.

  2. Defective parts must be returned to CSS for review before service charges may be considered for payment.
  3. Returned parts will not be accepted unless authorized in advance and an Return Ticket Number assigned by CSS is obtained. Returned parts must be securely packaged and include the customer contact information and Warranty Service ticket number. Customers are responsible for the freight charges to CSS. Customers outside the United States will be responsible for duties, taxes and brokerage fees. Customers are responsible for all return freight fees incurred.
  4. All Labor provided by CSS service technicians is guaranteed for 90 days after the date when the onsite service is provided and is contingent upon proper maintenance and use of the product and shall not apply in the case(s) of misuse, burglary attack, accidents, or tampering in any way so as to affect the safe's normal performance.
  5. Advance Cash Control System (ACCS) are sold with a one-year warranty on the safe body, door, and hinges. All other components of the ACCS are warranted for 90 days after purchase and exclude bill jams, tube jams, printer jams, local electrical surges, brown outs, black outs and natural environmental issues such as lightning, water or wind damage. Warranty Service

Service levels specified below are response time objectives only for the 48 contiguous United States and are not guarantees. Should you desire guaranteed service, please contact us at 1-877-723-3060. The specified service levels may not be available in Alaska or Hawaii. The service levels are not to be used for response time objectives outside the continental US.

Your One-Year Limited Warranty includes our "standard warranty service level" at no additional investment to you. With the "standard warranty service level", you may expect service within one to three business days based on parts availability.

If you registered the safe and invested in a Service Plan with a faster service level, your Service Level may be faster.

NOTE: If you have invested in a particular Service Plan Agreement (outlined following), your warranty still applies and your service level corresponds to your Service Plan Agreement.

Service Levels

  1. Standard Warranty Service Level (Silver-Service Plan) - Your safe comes with the CSS Standard Warranty Service Level. Upon receipt of your call and problem diagnosis, if a CSS technician determines on-site service is required, a CSS Service Technician will be scheduled to arrive at your location within one to three business days.

    Service will be provided from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm in your local time zone. Monday through Friday excluding Holidays.

    Unless your warranty has been voided, if you choose the Standard Warranty Service Level and the repair is approved, no additional charge will be incurred by you.

    Please keep in mind... You may have a Service Plan Agreement that offers a higher-level of service. If you aren't sure or you would like to invest in this Service Plan Agreement, please contact 1-877-723-3060.

  2. Next Business Day Service Level (Gold-Service Plan) - Your safe comes with the CSS Standard Warranty Service Level. Upon receipt of your call and problem diagnosis, if a CSS technician determines on-site service is required, a CSS Service Technician will be scheduled to arrive at your location within the next business day.

    Service will be provided from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm in your local time zone. Monday through Friday excluding Holidays.

    If you choose the Next Business Day Service Level and the repair is approved, there will be an investment for this level of service to cover the Next Business Day emergency dispatch. Your CSS One-Year Limited Warranty will cover parts and parts-related shipping.

    Please keep in mind...You may have a Service Plan Agreement that offers a higher-level of service. If you aren't sure or you would like to invest in Gold Service Plan Agreement, please contact 1-877-723-3061.


  3. Same Business Day Service Level - Emergency Service (Platinum-Service Plan) - Your safe comes with the CSS Standard Warranty Service Level. Upon receipt of your call and problem diagnosis, if a CSS technician determines on-site service is required, service will be scheduled to arrive at your location within the same day if you call before noon central time. This type of service will be provided 24 hours a day, every day, including holidays, where it is available.

    If you choose the Same Business Day Service Level - Emergency Service - and the repair is approved, there will be an investment for this level of service to cover Same Business Day emergency dispatch. Your CSS One-Year Limited Warranty will cover parts and parts-related shipping.
